Colors
Use Menu › Colors to set map background, Region fills and borders, hover/selected states, markers, clusters, and choropleth gradients.
Click a color field to open the color picker:

Opacity and transparency
The rightmost vertical slider in the color picker controls opacity. The field value becomes rgba(r,g,b,a) where a is opacity (1 opaque, 0 fully transparent).
For a fully transparent color, drag the slider all the way down or type transparent in the field.
Regions: hover and selected
Regions: hover and Regions: selected support two modes:
| Mode | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Color | Use a fixed color (including semi-transparent rgba) |
| Brightness | Lighten or darken the Region’s current color |
Image maps tip
On an image map, set the base Regions color to transparent, then use Color mode for hover/selected with a semi-transparent fill so the image shows through while the Region still highlights.
Marker clusters
Under Marker clusters, set background, borders, text, and hover colors for clustering bubbles. Enable clustering in Settings / Markers and clustering.
